I must admit that I spent a great deal of time researching storage facilities from: locations, accomodations, amenities, customer service and hours.
From where I live, this particular storage facility (Voorhees) is between 3 to 5 miles away.
It's located on a well-lit, main road that's highly populated, in between other businesses.
My wife called the office to make a reservation for us to to view the property, and the manager (Karoline) was extremely pleasant over the phone. I must admit that when I called other facilities, they were extremely aggressive for my business which was a complete turn-off.
My wife and I showed up to the facility approx 1 hour later and Karoline was extremely welcoming.
She was very patient explaining all of our options. She even took the time to physically show us multiple units. She let us see the units panaramically on a tablet, but I wanted to physically see what my options were. She accommodated me without blinking an eye.
In viewing the facility itself, it can be quite overwhelming; it's quite spacious spanning multiple buildings. Karoline showed us multiple units and explained in detail the pros and cons of each unit; she was very informative. The facility & units are extremely clean. I could not find anything negative to say.
I wound up renting one of the climate-controlled units.
In closing, if it had been someone else showing me the facility, I'd probably still be looking for a place to house my items.
Karoline's personality, professionalism and customer service was the deciding factor in why I chose the Voorhees location.
What's equally as important as important than finding the perfect storage facility is finding the customer service to compliment the facility.
