I would rate public storage with zero stars
They were doing work on the roof adding solar panels and caused a water leak not only to my unit but units to the left and to the right of mine they called on sunday night to tell me that there was water coming out from the front door i took the following day off to try and remedy the situation i found that my unit had filled with water and thatni had another problem there were live cockroaches i tried for several days to contact the area rep to get some satisfaction but my problems fell on deaf ears he told me i should go thru my homeowners insurance which has a 1000 deductable and also carries a threat of being dropped all because their contractor caused a leak and caused damage to my contents he told me they wouldnt give me the contractors insurance info either
I am presently filing a small claims case against them in hauppauge
I wouldnt dream of renting a unit from public storage anywhere i went to this facility specifically because it was new and i took the top floor so i wouldnt have water issues or bug issues guess i am finding out the hardway that they just dont care about their customers
