Public Storage

First time I go there, there is a lock on my unit, with no way to get in. No one was in the office. Second time I go the gate did not work, but there was someone in the office. Expensive.

Jack and Brittany were very helpful. I’ll trust them for me storage needs in the future

The service here is outstanding. I never felt more welcomed by the staff than I did when I walked in looking for a storage unit at PS (Public Storage). I commend in particular the man at the front desk, Jack, I believe was his name. He was on top of everything. I will be recommending this place to others in need of a place to store belongings.

I could say the surroundings were always clean and my items were safe.

I started out with a very minimal monthly rate; shortly thereafter I was up to $90 per month. (I had a 5x5 space; very small).

I had already paid for the whole month (September 2024) and I planned to utilize the space during my last days in the area. I stopped by one morning to gather some items to relocate them. I did not put the lock on my door because the space was empty and I was planning to return within the hour to store a few small items short term.
During the short time I was gone, I received a message thanking me for being a customer and encouraging me to rent again in the future. My space was closed.

I guess I gave a month's fee in tip?? No one called to verify if I was closing / leaving.

Next to impossible to get someone on the phone there. I even drove to the office a few times; could not find anyone at the desk. But they DID have someone around to close a space for which I did not sign out. (I only removed my lock because the unit was empty and I was planning to put some temp items in storage while I was in the process of moving).
I called the Corporate number and was on hold a long time after which the agent said my account was closed.
Huh?

The fish hook of a low price that became a high monthly price did it for me. But what will keep me away forever is being locked out of a paid unit without being asked or notified.
