Public Storage

If I could give it zero stars I would. This is a terrible company, I was at this site well before public storage acquired it, and it has gone downhill ever since. For reference I had a 5 x 10 sized unit, and they raised the rent on it twice in a two year period to almost $300 monthly. I moved to another climate controlled unit in town and now I have a 10 x 10 for $120 a month, let that price and space difference sink in. That's not all, there is zero in the way of customer service, staff at the front, or even people to pick up the phones. Instead you get the run around of nonsense automated answering machines, yet they build their policy to require 7 days in advance of moving out. Here's something else, if you move out on the first, they charge you for the whole month, zero prorating. It's an open and shut racket operation. They do not care about their customers and only want to milk as much money out of you as possible.

This is all not even going into the zero maintenance they do on the facility, the condition of available carts, even the elevator certificates for operation are long expired.

If you bring your business here, you will surely suffer for it.

I would like to highly recommend Tasha for a great job. I came in not knowing what I wanted or how to do it . She was so patient and understanding and walked me through the steps of acquiring a unit that would fit my needs. I’ve gone to other places and could not get the help that I found at the Public Storage here in Waldorf from an employee that took the time to help by not only using her knowledge base to satisfy everything I needed but by caring enough to help. Kudos for a wonderful employee !! Tasha thanks so much for all you did !!

I had a horrible experience at Public Storage in Waldorf. From the rude front desk clerk to the dimly lit unit - my engagement with public storage will be forever tainted. In order to take advantage of their promotional offers, you must enter your CC#. You are then randomly assigned to a unit in undesirable locations. If you decide not to rent the unit, you are automatically charged a $29 admin fee. After paying the admin fee for 2 different locations, along with other fees, I ended up waisting $160 all of which was non refundable.

The facility is clean and Latasha was helpful and nice. I’m sad to leave but I will recommend everyone to that specific location.
