I again recommend that you, mr or mrs potential future customer currently checking this place out, to steer clear.

Here is the final 'icing on the cake' experience.

I removed all my stuff from the unit late on Easter Sunday 3/31. Ada obviously was not around. On Monday i swung by and found no one in the office. I took a picture of the sign with a QR code and a number that is now on the front door. Maybe it has been there for a while, but i really never go to the office.

On Tuesday after work I drove by and let Ada know (in person) that I had vacated and that I would come by and sweep the unit the following morning. As promised I swept the unit and left it spotless this morning.

At 5:28PM I receive a text message reminding me to pay the unit.

I immediately called Ada and she informed me that since I had not vacated by the first of the month I was responsible for paying another month reguardless of wether i had any thing in the unit or not. I asked her if she felt that this was 'ethical, to which she suggested that I contact customer service. Then she mentioned my previous 'nasty' review. I told her not to worry that I would be updating it.

my new 'extra space' is very close by and for 20 sqft less than i had at this facility the rate is $144.00per month. My new 'extra space' also locked that rate in if i prepay so they have my business for the next year with no surprises.

As soon as i get the first collection letter from public storage I am reporting them to the BBB.

i welcome public storage management to contact me directly as my 2 calls and emails to the regional supervisor have been ignored. This is how they treat a customer of 5 years that has never caused an issue or paid a day late. '

The following is the 'nasty' review that I left two months ago.

Yes Ada is super nice, Yes they have storage bays. Yes they will work IF you only need SHORT term storage. My experience is that you can expect a rent increase that happens like clockwork every 12 months. I have now been a customer for 5 years. I live locally and my home does not have a garage the place is conveniently located.

In my case for a 10X22 unit over 5 years:
2019-2020 $157
2020-2021 $172
2021-2022 $230
2022-2023 $311
2023-2024 rent is now increased to $411.00
these are pre tax rates.

Currently same unit is listed on their site for $274.00 but the rate fluctuates more than the stock market. this is apparently their 'intro' rate, but other storage units in the area are also similarly priced.

In my case during my 5 years, rent has gone up 261%. The entire time I have been on autopay, never a late payment.

with the latest increase I tried requesting a rate reduction. Online it was denied. In person with Ada denied, Wrote email to District manager Curt Confer no reply.....

What you get for being a loyal customer is the shaft.
