Review for Public Storage

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with Public Storage. I rented two storage units for $150 each, but my visit turned into a frustrating ordeal. I arrived at 1 PM, and it took over two hours just to view the units and sign the agreement. I felt like I was getting the runaround the entire time.

The woman behind the counter seemed disinterested and was reluctant to show me the storage units. To make matters worse, she attempted to charge me more than the agreed-upon price. Prior to my arrival, they wanted me to pay over the phone without even seeing what I was renting, which felt very unprofessional.

The customer service in Miami leaves much to be desired. The staff member I dealt with was visibly annoyed and huffed and puffed throughout the process. When I tried to engage her by asking about her background, she refused to share, which only added to the frustration. I mentioned that I used to live in Vail, Colorado, where customer service is exemplary, and it’s disheartening to see such a stark contrast.

In short, my time was wasted, and I left feeling ripped off. I hope for a better experience next time I visit. I remember a former employee named Tony who provided excellent service, and it’s clear that good customer service often stems from happy employees who are compensated fairly.
