I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to take a moment to shout out Karola, the property manager at this Public Storage location. She is hands down the BEST. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcome and actually cared about helping me.

Karola made everything super easy, explained all my options (without any pressure), and helped me pick the perfect unit. Honestly, she turned what could’ve been a stressful situation into a breeze. Plus, the property is spotless—you can tell she really takes pride in her work.

It’s so rare these days to find someone who genuinely loves what they do and goes above and beyond for their customers, but that’s exactly who Karola is. If you’re thinking about renting a storage unit, go to this location. You’ll be in great hands. Thank you, Karola, for being amazing!

The facility was clean, secure and very well maintained. Karola the property manager was impressively helpful, kind and professional. We are very happy and confident with our items being stored there. Thank you Karola.

Terrible Experience with Public Storage in Davie – Refund Still Pending

I'm giving this place 2 Stars instead of 0 or 1, because Karola was very nice and helpful, when I could reach her. Apparently, PS Management have their staff members sometimes covering more than one location per day. I still haven't heard back from Karola from my repeated VMs on my move in day or the day after, so I had to cancel my unit.

My experience with Public Storage in Davie was nothing short of frustration. Unlike other companies that have multiple staff members available during business hours, it's a crapshoot getting someone on the phone. It makes it extremely frustrating to get help when you need it.

When I arrived to access my unit, I found a seal where the lock goes blocking opening my unit. Attempts to resolve the issue went unanswered, leading me to cancel my unit out of frustration the same day I was supposed to use it. However, the real headache began when I tried to reach Karola or Customer Service to get a refund. The CS agent initially told me that admin fees was non-refundable. But when I brought up the possibility of reporting fraud and disputing the charge with my credit card company, they refunded the maintenance fee immediately.

Despite this, I’m still waiting on the pro-rated refund for the unused days, and I have no idea if I’ll ever see that money. The lack of communication and accountability from Karola is troubling, since I really liked her and thought it would be great to use Public Storage since it so convenient. But, regardless of that, I should've gotten cues from the Red Flags of not having an onsite person full time. If I'm wrong, then why haven't I received a courtesy call after multiple attemps to reach the office. The company as a whole is deeply disappointing. Maybe this will get a response.

I'd like to start off with a big THANK YOU to Karola, the property manager at this location who by far made my first time experience with renting public storage such as pleasure. any inconvenience I've had in the beginning came quickly with clear communication and resolution right at the root. definitely recommend this location for those who are looking for a clean space and an attentive property manager on site. you will not be disappointed!
