Ash is a worker on at the Tulane Storage is very helpful and knowledgeable of the unit size. She also assisted me with boxes that I needed for my move.

I’ve never had to interact with actual staff, so I’m sure they’re great and try their best to keep up with these issues, but my observations of the facility are:

Checkin was contactless and incredibly fast and easy. Introductory rates were good, but now at 4 months or so, I’m paying almost $45 more than the rates that I started with.

Not a 24/7 facility, which I honestly didn’t recognize til after my move in. This is important if you work or otherwise can’t come in during their open hours.

We’ve seen repeated incidents of people who clearly don’t have access/codes waiting, manipulating, or hovering to be let in- often successfully . We’ve also arrived to find other guests acting very erratically, for example a man with his entire possessions fully sprawled out all over the ground, directly blocking the path to the front door by setting up a full altar ,cookstove, and yoga mat and doing ???

The driveway and dumpster are almost constantly littered with trash, screws/ nails, so I’m concerned about driving through. And the gate/ door to exit is sometimes broken or blocked

Not the staffs fault, just the nature of the area.

I had a great experience on at Public Storage on Tulane Avenue three days ago. Ashe and Brande provided excellent customer service from the moment I walked in the building until I left. They both patiently answered all my questions. I brought a few of my items yesterday in lieu of my big move-in day, and I was very pleased with the facility. It is very clean and secure. With the challenges of moving and transitioning my office, I feel so much better, knowing that my items will be safe and ready for me when I find the new location for my business.
