Very different experience but very helpful and friendly and easy

Increased dues within six months one year later and paying nearly $200 for a small unit.
Issue: I cleaned the storage and filed my cancellation through their mobile application and they still sent me a hostile email trying to collect for the month of April, threatening to report me to collections within 10 days if I did not pay.

Called and left messages repeatedly to the property manager with absolutely no follow up to my voicemails. Do yourself a favor and do not rent a storage from these guys. Horrible experience.

I REALLY wish I was not writing this review. I have used this facility for close to a year and the other facility they own on Fredericksburg before, as well. However, for about a month now, I have been regularly having to call about a RAT in my unit and the property. I have so far, received one call back in response to my 3 or 4 messages. Unfortunately, no info was giving to me handling of the rat. Every time I go to my unit, I see fresh droppings, more gnawing, and where he literally is MOVING items in my unit that I place in a blocking attempt, to get back in to the plastic bin that he has gotten cozy with. I went so far as taking my lock off of the until completely and only using a lock which they have the combo to, so that they can enter and do control as needed. I do not know what is with the owners. While I mentioned they have at least two properties, they have always been at least responsive. Now, the bathroom hasn't had paper towels or toilet paper in more than a month. PLEASE GET RID OF THE RAT IN MY UNIT!!!!!

UPDATE
Still no contact from Public Storage! The rest that I complained about almost 2 months ago seems to have completely moved in and built a nest. I continue leaving messages and manager continues to ignore.

UPDATE My issues and concerns were handled very appropriately and quickly once my voice reached the corporate office. He even helped me with making an insurance claim. From what I gather, there's an owner, Bill, who never returns phone calls and at least 1 actual property manager, but only on site occasionally. I totally understand wildlife and you can't control everything, but honestly this took WAAAAAAAYYYYY too long from initial phone call to Bill, to be resolved. Remember, I have Bill almost a month grace to call me back before my original post and he never did. Property is fine, company is great, franchise owner should be avoided. Nothing wrong with giving Public Storage your money and I would recommend them. However, I would NEVER recommend this particular site. Not enough pride in the ownership.

Plenty of room for my stuff and clean too. There is also plenty of security cameras on the property so I feel very comfortable having my stuff there.
