We were very happy with the service at this facility. The storage was very clean, and the area around well kept up. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We will recommend this facility anytime.

Watch out for this place’s bait and switch tactics!!!
Got me booking a 10x13 space for $199/month. When my moving team arrived, we figured out the space had no light because of the broken light bulb. The staff claimed there was nothing he can do at the moment. So we switched a 10x15 space with air conditioning and LIGHTS for $292. I was ok with the price change but it should have been a BIG RED FLAG!!!

4 months later, the autopay bill went up to $391 without notifying me. 6 more months later it went up again to $531. If it wasn’t that it went over my set credit card limit, I wouldn’t have found out. This is within less than a year. WTH

Steer clear of this place. What a horrific company. I have nothing positive to say about the facility, people or policies. It's all below average and shady. Company and people aside, there is a severe shortage of carts, meaning zero, no matter the day or hour. Good luck lugging your items one at a time up and down floors and hallways.

We had a great experience at Public Storage in San Mateo! Chris was very helpful, checking on us throughout the process and closing out the unit and account balance after we vacated. Highly recommend this location and Chris for his excellent customer service!
