Public Storage

Well, my wife and I rented a storage unit with Public Storage on Deer Valley Rd in Antioch. When we arrived to pick up our lock to secure our unit we found the latch loose and misaligned causing the lock to not function. We notified the person there and they said it would be fixed that day, it was not! We went round and round for two weeks with no results.
Utonia called me and asked if I had any concerns since my lock was not in place. I kinda rudely explained the situation and within an hour I had a new unit with a free month. Wow!! Utonia was amazing and I'm so thankful she called.

Annoyed at being assigned a locker but could not access it. After contacting company and assigned a different locker and was then told by the attendant (nice lady) I would be refunded $11.00 for the company’s mistake but was only refunded $2.23; like What Is That, public storage?

Good service. The gentleman working was very helpful and attentive.

We were in town for a month and tried to go empty or storage, but all of the elevators were down due to some electrical issues.
The issue still isn't fully resolved, and we leave next week.
Talk about TOTAL inconvenience!
I feel like we should be given an entire month rent-free because the issue is not OUR problem. However, getting our belongings out is! Yet they still expect payment when we couldn't even retrieve our belongings due to no fault of ours.

this place SUCKS .... don't believe their advertising of your stuff is safer here ... it's not I got so much stolen, I changed the lock 4x .. I can get the rest of my stuff out . I need a new spot and trusted movers to do it don't move your stuff in there you'll lose it ?
