They sold me a unit that doesn't exist. Thanks for wasting my time and stealing my money.

UPDATE at end of review. I invite PS to reply and say this isn't true. Why did you raise my 5x10 to $188 a month??? I have auto pay. They will gouge you!!! Don't post a review until AFTER you've been renting. They reply to positive reviews, from new renters. They are crooks IMO and other's. I rented a small 5x10 space starting at less than $80 a month. Didn't take long before it got jacked up to $120 a month. The next month you look and it's $142!!! Now $188. If you look, the intro offer is $41, and they state the regular price as $82. I called and asked why I was being charged more than the regular price, I was told 'that's just the way it is'. I asked if they would lower the rate, 'no'. But I was told I could cancel the space I'm in and move to the unit next door for a lower rate. Seriously??? Unfortunately I'm out of state and can't do that. They are a complete rip off! Unethical business practice. If you need your space for more than a couple months, they'll screw you. You've been warned. UPDATE; Was called by a man from Public Storage, on account of this review. Maybe we could work something out. He explained that the prices listed online aren't the actual prices. The prices are for marketing purposes. Half off the price is only half off a marketing price, not an actual price. I said that was misleading. He told me I need to stop 'arguing' with him. End result is, he appeared to me to get angry, no rate reduction, I'm not changing my review. So, they really hate bad reviews. I got more calls. My rate was reduced FOR ONE MONTH! Now it went up again. I hope to get my stuff out soon. Renting from public storage, out of state has been a horrible experience. Like I said earlier, DON'T WRITE YOUR REVIEW BASED ON YOUR FIRST MONTH. WAIT A WHILE. THEN YOU'LL SEE.
