Public Storage

The place was always well maintained the people there were attentive. I had to leave once my original storage fee went from 70 to 90 to 120 to one last bill of 160.... in two years. I am now somewhere else where I am guaranteed a reasonable fee for at least the next two years. I never experienced this, maybe I was supposed to renegotiate every 6 months, who knows. The weird thing is that the same exact lockers were rented at 70! in the same building! I understand that there are introductory fees and that the fees will increase, but from 70 to 160 in two years? What is the explanation? (I actually called and I was told that was the competitive fee, wow)

Spoke to someone in upper Management by the name of Ashley. She was very helpful. I still don’t think they need to be increasing the monthly amount by so much and so often, but I will make sure to call them to each time to try and negotiate the increases.

I still stand firm in my previous statement but I will give 4 stars now instead of 1 star only based on my experience with Ashley.

The increases are INSANE!! I got my storage unit here in the summer of 2022 for $174 they increased the price within a few months to over $200. The last increase went from $271 to $331, a $60 increase is absolutely insane!! This place is a RIPOFF! I put my stuff here because $174 was a good deal but $331 is just crazy!! AVOID THIS SCAM!!!

When I think of Public Storage, I think of excessive rent increases that have no more value than a 10x10 box that keeps going up and up and up in unjustifiable rent increases.
This company is the closest thing to being 'crooked like' to say the least.

How do I go from paying around $200 per month to paying $500 within a year for one unit per month. I have two other units with the same issue, costing me a total of $1000 per month.

Wow, I feel like I got robbed, yet legally!
I definitely missed the increases on my auto pay.

Don't let the nice building fool you because it comes at a hefty price.

As of this month, I am leaving Public Storage company for good.

You ripped me off enough.

I found a garage to rent with doable the space for a fraction of the cost I was paying for three units with this company centered for profits business corporation.

It's enough space to place all my items in for way less.

I really hope that there will be some legislation passed to stoptheses unfair rent hikes in the storage industry.

To Public Storage, you really ought to be ashamed of what you are doing to the consumer who supports you.
