I had my storage for almost 2 years and seems like every 6 months or so they go up in price..I started at $125 and month and now it’s $225 for a 10x by 10x…I was on the second floor and use my storage often the elevator went out so I could not get things I needed ( to heavy to carry down steps ) the elevator was down for 3&1/2 MONTHS …yet I was still having to pay rent so I decided to move to a unit on the first floor .bit because the elevator was down I couldn’t move my stuff .after finally fixing the elevator I started moving my things to the first floor unit .in the middle of loading the elevator and moving the elevator stopped working again .i didn’t want to leave my things and n the elevator all night so the young lady at the front desk used a device to open the elevator which was stuck between floors I had to clam down into the elevator and removed my things .after another week the elevator was fixed and I moved to the first floor unit.after the first month we got a Rain storm and water got into my unit .finally the last straw was they went up again on my rent .i shopped around and found CUBESAFE STORAGE same size unit $58.10 a month .i called public storage to advise them. Was moving out and was asked the reason I told them because I found a much cheaper price .than this the lady in the phone said “let me see if I can match the price “ she came back and said she can match the price at KOP location.this made me furious first it’s in KOP no where close to me at all and the fact you can match the price why did you go up in the first place ? My advice to new customers is SHOP AROUND.there are places much BETTER I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ..the one bright spot in all this was the Good Brother at the front desk Kenyetta through it all he was very professional and courteous. Any problem I had he tried his best to fix it And so I am grateful for that a stand-up guy Working for a not so good company.
