Public Storage

This unit is probably the 15th unit I've rented with Public Storage over 25 years. Clean. Easy internet rental - took less than 3 minutes! Shana, the manager was EXTREMELY helpful and even did a follow up to be extra sure l was satisfied. That's why I will always use Public Storage when l need that ' extra space'!

Public Storage is a rip-off. If you keep a unit for any length of time they keep increasing the rate. After a while you can be paying multiples of your original rate.

Then when you look at other available units you will see identical units to yours for much lower rates, and I mean less than half or a third, not just some small incentive difference.

Then when you ask why identical units cost half or a third of yours, and if you can get that rate, you are told it's impossible because it's an algorithm that increases the rates, so now you are left with no choice but to rent the other identical unit and move all your stuff. Which is obviously a huge pain.

Public Storage knows that so they use this predatory practice.

It's a huge ripoff.

Fine if you never want to speak to a person. My vehicle is stored at a facility on Hilton Head Island. They are experiencing Tropical Storm Debbie this week. I have called & left numerous messages to see if the storage lot is in danger of flooding. Can’t reach anyone & none of my messages have been returned.
