My new neighbors used this moving company. The movers apparently took the time to climb onto my retaining wall and take a huge boulder off my property without asking, to prop up their tires. When they were done, they didn't put it back, they just left it on the ground across the alley from my house and a huge gaping hole in my retaining wall. Several neighbors saw them do this.
1. They could have asked me first and I would have said yes if they would put it back
2. They clearly don't respect other people's property. I mean, they had to go up my stairs and pry the Boulder out of my retaining wall.
You really want to use a moving company like that that doesn't respect other people's property? If so, good luck! Maybe they can go into a side landscaping business. I need some bamboo removed out of my yard too.
Have used them many times. They do a very good job ensuring everything is safely transported. Would highly recommend.
I was in dire need of movers immediately to help residents at the property I manage and Quick Move Transport was available to immediately help me with my situation. I really appreciated that I was able to book an appointment on my first call, and that I didn't have to wait for a scheduler to call me back.
During the move, the movers worked with professionalism and efficiency. I am so grateful for Quick Move Transport!
DO NOT avail their services. Some tactics they use to clock more hours:
- First they'll spend some time in finding your address.
- Once reached, spend some time on doing paper work(could be done online).
- We asked for 2 person + truck. One of them asked to use our toilet and remained there for some 15 mins.
- They will make sure that they over wrap everything. So they spend lot of time wrapping and unwrapping(please note that they wrap their blankets inside so we can't say that we'll unwrap on our own). This option might be good if stuff is valuable and being moved long distance. Mine was just 1 mile across the road.
- They'll bill you from the time they start from & end to their shop. They came to my place at 9:20 AM(9AM appointment) and billed me since 8:30 AM. Same was for return. My place is just 10 mins away.
- The staff doesn't know how to tighten the bolts. we don't tighten the bolts in serial order but in alternate order so that frame doesn't get bent. Had to fix my bed frame on my own.
- This all while I had to keep may of my stuff myself in truck to save time. Also, both my source and destination were on first floor so no climbing.
My advice: go for Uhaul or Dolly if you've 1 bedroom / studio to move.
