R & R Moving & Storage INC

I contracted with Interstate and they did not tell me they were a broker. They called to set up the pickup and charged me almost 400 more dollars. Then said R&R would be picking up my stuff and promised me that my stuff would be picked up and delivered directly to NYC from California. They swore my stuff would not be loaded and unloaded several times. Then Mike and some other guys showed up and picked everything up charging me another 1000 dollars. Mike made the same promises. That my stuff would not be loaded and unloaded to different trucks and warehouses. The delivery went smooth in NYC but after unpacking everything I have realized I am missing 2 boxes of stuff. And as the other reviews state, there is no way to get a hold of anyone to get my belongings. They do all this shady stuff knowing full well we are all at their mercy. This is such a disgusting display of humanity! This is all a disgrace to the industry! There are too many shady evil people in the moving industry. Do NOT use this company!!!! And Mike, btw, is a waste of skin! So if you read this mike…I said it! Do NOT trust him or R&R!!!!!!!!

DOT NOT USE THEM! My quote was 1000 over what they told me. Also one guy showed up and I had to help him the entire time. This place is a joke and I have reported them to the BBB

After breaking several household items during our move, they also misplaced a few expensive tools. After filing an insurance claim, they still haven't paid the claim several months later and never answer their phone.

I do not recommend this company.

These people appear to be swindlers. Do not let them move for you. I am worried I will never see my belongings again. Apparently Perennial Van Lines sub-contracted. They showed up at our house 7/20/2021 three hours late and increased the estimate by $1600 for my state to state move. They told me that they could give me a three day window beginning 8/1/2021. I called at least 30 times the following week to verify the time, and they did not answer the phone, have a working voicemail or answer any texts until 8/3/2021, at which point they told me my stuff had never left LA. On 8/6/2021 they stated they loaded the truck. On 8/7 I was told the delivery would be 8/8 or 8/9. On 8/8 I got a text that it would be 8/10-8/12 for the delivery in Idaho. Now they have completely disappeared. They texted me that someone got Covid, that my stuff never left Los Angeles, that they would not give me a plan until 8/16/2021, and they would not tell me where my stuff is in storage so that I could rent a UHaul and get it back. I fear that it has been stolen and that I will never see my furniture again. Perennial van lines also will not give me an address where my belongings are.
