Rainier Overseas Movers was the US partner for my move from Switzerland to Vermont. After Rainier contacted me to let me know my belongings had arrived in the US, I inquired about storage options and price (twice by email, once by voice mail); I wasn't going to be moving into my new house for two more months and I wanted to make an informed decision about keeping my belongings in storage vs having them delivered to a family member while I waited. I received no information on storage pricing, so I assumed that there would be no charge for this period (when I originally moved to Europe, I received 2 months of free storage, so I thought something similar was happening). The week before the move, I received a large storage bill. When I emailed and called to express my surprise and disappointment, I encountered some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rainier ultimately reduced my storage bill slightly, but did not admit any wrongdoing and threatened to withhold delivery of my belongings until I paid the bill.
Don and Danise made our move from Seattle to Iceland as easy as an international move could be. It was worth every penny to have their positivity and guidance through the whole process. I highly recommend Rainier Overseas Movers!
