I had a really good experience with Don and Rainier Movers. He is a good communicator and everything that was discussed was delivered with zero damage and exactly on schedule. I moved from Los Angeles to Toronto and it couldn't have gone more smoothly.
I used Rainer services on a move from Italy to the Bay Area. Spotless service on both sides. Very professional personnel and they were on time both on the pick up as well as delivery. Uneventful move, that's how it should be
We used Rainier overseas movers to move all our things from Seattle to Australia. They were amazing and I would highly recommend them. They had people come out to give us a quote very quickly and before we knew it we were packed and shipped. They made the whole process very easy for were very responsive with any questions. Fast forward a few months and we have all our belongings in good nick in our new home.

I moved about 3,600 lbs of furniture and 'stuff' from Los Angeles to Hawaii. I got quotes from six carriers - the major national players and two smaller, 'boutique' movers. I chose Rainier from these two boutique operations, based on a great recommendation from a colleague AND how well David explained everything. His transparency, willingness and ability to explain the various hand-offs and players involved at every step, and pricing. These conversations gave me confidence David and his network of providers would do my move well.
And they did! The packing crew in LA (I had two locations - furniture in a storage facility, and everything else in my garage) was EXCELLENT. Friendly, great communication, fast, thorough and careful. My major furniture pieces were already wrapped in quilts from my prior move. Dave's crew then wrapped each piece of furniture with ANOTHER layer of that heavy multi-layered paper. I have never had every single piece of furniture individually wrapped.
I also wanted four bulky, heavy, high value items crated, so Dave and his LA provider managed that.
The ocean crossing was much faster than I had expected - only four days on the water. Hawaii movers are all under-staffed, so there are long wait times on this end. Dave's regular outfit was booked over a month out, so he scrambled and found a great local provider which did a great job. My building has awkward access - through the basement parking lot, and up the elevator. The parking lot access and ceiling heights could not accommodate the container so the local crew brought a shuttle truck to literally just move the items from the container parked on the street, down in the garage and to the elevator. They got permits to park the container and their truck, posted signs two days in advance, and everything went off without a hitch.
I have moved many times, and always forget how stressful it is, and how many little details are involved. Dave took all those details off my shoulders and managed them beautifully.
