Moved from California to Georgia April 2021. They only delivered half of our stuff after waiting 5 weeks. I was 37 weeks pregnant by then, and no ETA on the rest of the stuff which contained all the baby items. The other half didn't arrive until another 4 weeks, by then I had already given birth so we needed to buy all new baby items to prep for baby's arrival. They didn't tell us that there would even be a possibility that our move would be delivered in 2 separate trips, otherwise we would've gone with another company due to baby coming.

There was poor communication and lack of responsibility and ownership throughout the whole process. Almost all of our furniture arrived damaged or broken, and they wouldn't accept our claims due to lack of receipts and sufficient documentation. The final amount paid was more than twice the amount originally quoted. Overall, it was a terrible and very stressful moving experience.

Don't use this company!!! Our moving cost from CA to Texas was around 5k. They will triple the cost and hold your stuff ransom until you pay. We lost half our stuff and had to call the police on the delivery guys, which only had half our items, a lot of damage to items, we had other families stuff which we returned to the owners. Come to find out this company did the same to them. They are now trying to sue us for 7k. They washed checks of ours and sent them through the bank again, they ran our credit card again for 4800...on and on. Please don't use this company. They are involved in 28 other fraudulent companies even student loan consolidation. Be aware!!!

We booked the move from California to Nevada in June of 2021. We were assured that the company would take extra care of our items as if they were their own. Our items arrived damaged and we were missing over $3000 worth of clothing, kitchen items and other household goods. This company takes an extremely long time to respond to claims and they give you the run around. They also give you a quote over the phone an when the movers arrive they tell you that you have way more in cubic footage than you were quoted over the phone. I see some good reviews on here regarding the company which I think are bogus. All you have to do is go on to the BBB website to see that they are rated F and in fact have been taken off the list of BBB Accredited businesses because of all of the negative reviews they have received. Do Not book with this company if you do not want to lose family photos or if you value your personal items. They will lose and damage your items. If you still do decide to chose them, ensure that you have everything covered under your insurance in some way. They offer 0.60 cents a pound for you items if they are missing or damaged. So if they break or damage your $1000 dinning table they will pay you $60. Also once they pay you for the item, it states in the contract that they can at any time come and pick up the item for which you filed the claim. What a joke. Also when you ask to speak to the owner of the company which is an elderly man, you get the response of, “we will never let you speak to him.” There’s a man and a woman whom sound like they’re both in their mid to late 50’s that answer the phone every time you call with a complaint. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Rapid Van Lines - A big fraudulent moving company!

Our move was scheduled in April 2021 from California, we asked them to deliver it in Philadelphia by June 2021. After 5 months of delay, they delivered half of our stuff in the end of September 2021. On top of everything, they never picked up our calls and replied to our emails once in 7 days with vague status update. For 4 months, they kept mentioning in their email response that our shipment was assigned a route but the truck didn’t come to load it.

We received only half of our stuff and apparently we got to know that it was kept in a storage not in a temperature controlled warehouse. Most of the boxes that were brand new UHAUL boxes bought by us came in damp, opened, and repackaged by RVL. We were really horrified looking at the condition of our stuff. Rapid Van Lines didn't deliver our TV, SKIs, wardrobe, camping tent, DELL monitor, snorkeling gears, 2 suitcases of clothes, electronics like Go-pro etc, a box of kitchen utensils and most importantly a box of books that had our precious academic degrees with mine and my husband's name on them. This box also had one only black and white picture of our grandma which was such an emotional asset to us. This list is long and the missing stuff is worth $12k. Jim made us pay the balance amount and denied to open the trailer door without letting us see if our items were there or missing or damaged. After delivery, he told us to file a claim which wouldn't even justify the loss that we have suffered. My humble request to you all is not to choose this moving company. For anyone who was delivered our box with lot #1261892 that contains books+ our academic degrees, please get in touch with me. My review is also on Yelp. Our degrees are priceless and were hard earned which is way beyond the understanding of these fraudulent movers. They have caused such an emotional trauma to so many people. Every lowest star and horrifying story in Google reviews is true.

Sadly, we haven’t been able to involve police as they say it is a civil matter, but the fact is that we didn’t pay this moving company to steal our stuff. These are criminal activities and need to be investigated by FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation & Better Business Bureau for the interest of common people so that they don’t screw up lives of many more.

The people who take your order doesn't know how to communicate with the customers. I had a really bad experience with them they broke most of my items and have not reimbursed me for them. All they wanted was the money and didn't care about me or my items very unprofessional.
