Do not hire!! I called 3 weeks before my move to speak with them about our move. Ric told me he would call me back and never did. I didn't get a call the day before to confirm nor did I get a call the day of to let me know they were on their way (standard practice for every other moving company I've used.). The dragged my belongings across the moving van floor and then across my newly refinished floors. The gouged my floors and when I told them about it they lied and said they hadn't dropped something on them and told me, 'What can I do, just file a claim.' They unwrapped my dresser the was wrapped in moving pads and shrink wrapped and complained it was too heavy. My dresser has been moved over 4 times completely filled with clothes from a second floor walk up without a single scratch. These guys destroyed two corners and the bottom of it. They threatened to walk off the job saying, 'I don't need your money.' Ric the guy in charge, lied to me about the 'invoice' I signed and used it to illegally get paid from Hire a Helper. I've used half a dozen movers in the past 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. If you can't lift heavy things you shouldn't be in the moving business. That is literally all you are paid to do.
