EDITING TO ADD AFTER BUSINESS RESPONSE:
***They have already told us that they will not be refunding us (before the response to this review), over email and the phone. I have also added a photo of our curved 55” Samsung tv, that they made us box, and is damaged to the point it is no longer usable. Also, there’s no way for them to process a refund because it was a cash payment, they do not have our account information to send a refund, and they do not have our current address to send a check because they delivered our items to our storage unit. Do not hire them, they lie and scam. ***
We recently relocated to NC. My husband spoke with Real Time Relocation, went over the manifest, and agreed on a price. We gave them a two day window, January 30-31, but we did let them know we were trying to leave that Friday morning. We received no communication from them until Thursday evening, after calling for an update multiple times. They didn’t show up until 1pm on that Friday. No big deal, our move was delayed by a day but oh well.
We were also told BY Real Time that they would be using one of their personal 26 feet trucks and that a semi wouldn’t be necessary, because we didn’t have much.
At the time of pick up, a COMPLETELY different company showed up. We were under no impression that this would be the case. The men that showed up claimed they were Fragile Moving from Hackensack, NJ. My husband told them that his in laws were from Clifton, and their responses were “where’s that?” Red flags were already flying at this point.
AFTER they loaded everything onto the truck, they informed my husband that it would be an additional $400 UP FRONT, because the square footage was off (made no sense, we didn’t add anything additional to the original manifest, and they also made my husband break down some items that 1. Wasn’t necessary at all, and 2. They should have taken care of). When my husband informed them that we only took out enough for the original deposit (because it was cash or money order only), they informed him that he could either pay it, or they would take everything off the truck and we could find someone else. He reluctantly paid, because we were already supposed to be on the road that morning.
Real Time called us right after to see how things went, and my husband was honest with them. They said they would look at the manifest, and would most likely refund that $400 because they even said it didn’t sound right.
Fast forward to delivery. We were told either Saturday or Sunday, and heard NOTHING until Sunday afternoon. They said delivery would be Monday, between 2-4. We hadn’t heard anything, so at 1:30 on Monday, we headed to the storage space where we would temporarily be keeping everything. We called the original company for an update, and they said they would call us back in 5 minutes. 15 minutes passed, and then we saw a moving truck. Thank God we were there, because they were supposed to give us 30-1 hour notice, and for every hour you aren’t there, they charge $150.
The gentlemen dropping off were really nice (the only good thing about this move) but this was again a completely different group of people, WHO LIVED IN GEORGIA!! So this was now the 3rd company being used, when we were told it would only be 1.
Now we get to today. After multiple emails to Real Time, they FINALLY emailed us back and said we would not get a refund. Even though there were items broken (our computer monitor, as well as some other things). We’re heading to the storage unit to take pictures of proof of everything else, including the disassembled furniture that they claimed took up 100 additional square feet.
This company apparently loves to bait and switch, they hate actually communicating with their customers, and apparently see no issue with lying to their customers to make a buck.
If you value your time, money, sentimental belongings, and your sanity, stay far away from this company. We gave them multiple chances to make things right, so unfortunately our loss is YOUR gain. Learn from our mistakes, and find different movers.
10/10 moving experience. They came on time and were prepared for the move. I even had some issues with the elevator and they never complained. Moving is already stress-free ,it was worth every penny! I would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

They did a great job with moving my sectional to the basement and disposal of an old sofa and love seat. They were very good with getting back to messages. Arrived within the time window they had promised. Reasonably priced and a job well done.
