Red Lines Van Lines

I have to address this. The people below leaving a one star review are referring to Red Van Lines -30 N. Gould St. Sheridan, WY 82801. That company is a 3rd party moving broker.

I also was about to leave a 1 star review because this is the company that comes up when you Google 'Red Lines reviews.' But this is not the company that I interacted with. Red Van Lines has almost 0 Internet presence, unfortunately. However it does come up on a Google search of moving companies, generically.

Regarding THAT other trash company, they hung up on me when I refused to give them money before reading the terms of the contract, which they refused to email me before I put down a deposit. I'm glad the trash took itself out.

We utilized this service and could not believe the nightmare that ensued.
When the truck arrived the person in charge immediately started to find ways to increase the charges. We were told that the contracted amount was a firm price so we balked at this effort. Then we were told that the price would stay the same only to be told after everything was loaded that the price would be more than a thousand dollars more. Also, we were told 5-7 business days is when the truck would get to its destination only to be told later by customer service that it would take 21-30 days. Once the truck arrived our belongings were in a state of disarray and damage. Many items were broken or missing and we still had to pay ovder a thousand dollars more before they would onload our things. Then when we tried to ask the driver to look one more time for the missing items he went ballistic and started cursing and insulting us with rude and abusive language. He would not sign the receipt and then took it back from us and got in his truck and left. This company should not be in business! Beware as they are brokers that sell the services they provide to a third party and actually do not provide any service. This review is posted under my husband's Google account and my initials are A.B.

Very pushy customer service, it started professional but damn! They went crazy when I said I want to think about it. I just wanted a quote.

The customer service was extremely poor. I had to call the customer service line to even find out that my whole shipment had “fell through”. No dispatch or customer service rep ever contacted me. Once we found out,
we were initially told that the shipment would be pushed back by a week. A couple hours later we were told that they had no trucks at all. The only helpful person was a manager, Lauren, who helped us get a full refund for our deposit. Bottom line, do not use this company unless you have a massive window of time to accommodate.

Had a contract, 'non-refundable', Now I know why.
They called 2 days ahead and committed to be there. I had to drive (6) hours only to have them call and say they weren't coming. I canceled and immediately hired another mover. OH, no refund??? What a scam!! Beware!! It's totally their timing and they DON'T CARE!
