Right Touch Movers Inc

I scheduled and confirmed a move 1 month in advanced with right touch movers. I called several times during the week before the move and they never answered the phone and completely bailed out of the confirmed move date. I would not recommend this company if you have to meet a certain date for a move.

Called to make the appointment with Tommy and specifically told them i needed 2 large toys taken, and was told it would be no problem.( later was told 'Tommy is gonna yes you to death' when i told the guys Tommy said is wouldn't be a problem) When the guys arrived they knew nothing about it but said they would see if they could do it. When we got down to the toys, I was told I would need to disassemble them myself paying 150.00 an hour to do so, so I opted to leave them. I called the office to let them know what had happened and they seemed very apologetic and said to take pictures of the items and they could possibly send a truck to pick them up for us on a later date. When they called I was told they could take the items for another 400.00 dollars!! I already paid 965.00 to move my 2 bedroom house 1.5 miles away! Waste of money and time!

Movers arrived on-time and wrapped things up at our departing apartment relatively quickly, one additional man was sent for the move which was unexpected. The move took longer than we initially thought, but everything was done relatively quickly and painlessly. Furniture was re-assembled in the new apartment. The service was cash-only, which I did not realize but that's on me!

Overall, the initial quote was lower than the final charge, but the moving team was efficient and everything was handled that needed to be. COI was provided to both apartments, and one COI was even expedited at the last minute (FYI this is an incremental cost).

Used this company to relocate from the upper east side and they were amazing. Packed all my items and provided me an accurate estimate. Will definately recommend to friends or family.
