If you are reading this please run while you have the chance!! Do not waste your time and money with these scammers! I can not stress that statement enough. I'm so grateful that the nightmare that is Righteous Van Lines is over. There is nothing righteous about them at all. It is a family owned business that are a family of phonies! They will call you for weeks trying to get your business and then take you to the cleaners. They even lied and said they were members of the BBB and they are NOT! (I called BBB myself) I was moving from OK to TX. The rep Brandon told me that the movers will pick my things up, wrap them in the moving blankets or plastic, disassemble any furniture, drive them to TX, unload and reassemble the furniture. Please read the fine print once you have received the quote! They have hidden charges and procedures that they do not tell you about.

So here's my experience: I paid my deposit, and agreed to pay the first half of the remainder at pick up and the other half at delivery, and set up a date and time (on a Thursday) for my pick up. Brandon assured me the movers would be at my apartment in the afternoon. After several calls the day of move with Donna (I never heard from Brandon again), the movers arrived at 11pm!! They claimed the person they had before me had more things than anticipated... Which brings me to the fact that I was never told that my things would share a truck with someone else's things. This had me baffled due to the possibility of unsanitary issues (dirt, roaches, bed bugs, ect.) that my things could have been exposed to. They also didn't have enough room on the truck and had to strap my dining room table and box spring to the back of the truck. One of the drivers wrote up a statement saying they would not be liable if the table broke. Ridiculous!! Its not my fault they tried to double load the truck (which was an Enterprise truck). Now they ask for the payment and I offer my card and they said that they had to have a money order or cash. I spoke with the owner, Alex ( who refused to give his last name), who was very rude and said that to insure that I receive my things Saturday I had to pay for the pick up and delivery because they could not be sure if the funds would go through. This was the same card I used to pay with my deposit which cleared the same day. (The rep Brandon told me that I could pay for everything with a card) Alex even implied that since I was educated that I felt I was entitled to everything. Just rude!! Ok, so the next incident was at the day of delivery, the movers said they would have to charge me $65 per 10 steps to deliver my things on the third floor. I told them previously that I was on the third floor and they mentioned nothing about this. Plus they wanted it in cash! I was livid to say the least that even after I paid for the delivery like they wanted they were still trying to charge me for the stairs! They broke the leg on my TV stand and said I could file a claim but they would only pay $0.60 per pound of the item damaged.

They are just the definition of awful, unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. Please go elsewhere for you moving company.

was disgusted with this company. It took a month for them to deliver our stuff and a ton of the boxes were crushed, quite a few things broken, mattresses were all wet. They pretty much screwed us over the whole time we worked with them. Pay them a ton of money for them to screw everything up. When we would call them they would not help us out. They left us to put all our stuff together that they took apart. A horrid company to work with. The moving crew did great but that is because they were not part of the company just hires by them.

I went with this company despise the bad reviews I read. I was very skeptical but what made me go along with them was that they were a family owned company and their prices were very competitive. The pickup went great despise my skepticism but I did have issues with their delivery process. I had to wait a little longer than what I thought but overall the move went well and I would recommend this company to anyone.

This is the very first time I ever write a review about any service or product I have purchased in the past. But I just feel a moral obligation to warn the general public of this fraudelent company. At first, they try to reach me day and night to get my business, and I naively accepted their services as they offered me the best quote. They warned me that in interstate moves the usual delivery time takes around 1-10 business days after the pick up date. That is why they insisted in me moving out of my apartment in San Antonio Texas on July 15th, so they could garantee that my things would be in Utah around August 2nd,2014 which was when we requested for our things to be there. This gave them around 17 days to plan accordingly and get my things there on time. To our surprise, once they had already packed all my things and collected my money, they advised that by federal law, they had 30 days from my requested delivery day to deliver my things. But they insisted that since they had picked up my things 15 days in advance that was not going to happen. August 2nd came and I did not even received a phone call warning me of the status of my move. I thought it was odd since in the past they had called me day and night to try to sell me their services. My things ended up arriving August 19th at 7:00 pm, 36 days after they picked them up. NEARLY HALF OF THEM WERE BROKEN including major appliances such as my dryer and by bed. I could understand if maybe one or two things were damaged since it is the nature of this business, but to pay almost $3000 to have nearly half of my things broken is unacceptable. Perhaps, we should had purchase the insurance they offered, but it was nearly $400.Besides this, their management was poor and lacked customer service skills. One of them even had the nerve to yell at me for calling the company every day to check on the status of my my delivery, and stated that I had no legal documentation to prove that they garanteed delivery on August 2nd besides their word. They had no interest in my family's welfare and they cared less that my wife who suffers from severe back pain was sleeping on the floor for 19 days. DO NOT GET THEIR SERVICES unless you are willing to undergo everything I just mentioned. Hopefully, this information is useful and you are not a victim of a rip off, as I was. I am filing a formal complaint with U.S Department of Transportation so they can at least monitor them more closely.

I will not advise anyone to use Righteous Van Lines for moving. Not only are they unprofessional, the owner actually called and insulted/yelled at me on the phone. They don't have an automated tracking system and customer is on the dark all the time. My two old month baby's swing was broken and my expensive mattress was wet. I regret using Righteous Van Lines and will not recommend ANYONE to use them for moving.
