We paid over 20k for our move from AZ to GA. Some of the damages were horrific and they offered us $120. A phallic symbol CARVED into our bed and damaged a hand carved mango wood bookcase. I paid more than $120 for the vacuum cleaner they broke.
moving is my least favorite thing to do, but Rigos made it as painless as possible. they helped me pack my entire kitchen and closet, with such speed and care.
I just hired them for the second time- and as expected, everything was professional, efficient, fast, and reasonably priced. ive also recommended them to countless friends and family, ty rigos for all of your help!
If I could give a 0 star I would. By far, the worst moving experience I have ever dealt with. Rigos picked up my stuff on June 4th and didn't deliver until July 8th. There was no communication or updates given. Once the drivers showed up to deliver, the manager was very rude to my boyfriend. We had several damaged boxes, and items missing. The manager didn't seem to care and told us we had 6 month to report anything lost or damaged. I can't explain the disgust and anger on how unprofessional this company is.
One of worst, charged 60% more. Packed some stuff and loaded in to truck and asked to pay 60% more for rest of the stuff to move.
I've moved several times in the last 10 years, and this was by far the most negative experience I've had with a moving company. Rigo's are dishonest, are poor communicators, and damaged several items during the move. Extremely disappointed. Deeply regret giving them my business.
The day before my move, a truck arrival time with a 2hr window was provided to me. This info was relayed via text, a voicemail, and over a phone call. The morning of the move arrived, and Rigos didn't show up. After having to call several times, I was told (with no apology or explanation) that they wouldn't be coming that day after all, but to expect them in 26 hours. They ended up arriving 36 hours later, again with no explanation or apology. Upon loading the truck, they told me they wouldn't unload it unless I paid an additional $800, despite having provided a strictly accurate inventory of my items when planning the move. A few items were damaged during the move, and it was difficult to get Rigos to reimburse for these. They only reimbursed ~80% of what was damaged in the moving inventory.
The actual mover was nice, and a wizard with backing up the moving truck. The folks on the phone and who I corresponded with via email were dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Strongly discourage anyone from using their services.
