I wish I could write a positive review about RoadRunner Auto Transport, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating, disappointing, and exhausting. I entrusted this company to transport my vehicle across the country, paying extra for optional insurance to ensure that any damages sustained during transit would be covered. Unfortunately, that promise has not been fulfilled.
Upon delivery, I immediately noticed damages to my car that were not present before transport—a missing driver-side mirror cover and a scratch on the passenger-side roof. When I raised my concerns with the delivery driver, I was met with complete dismissal. He insisted the damage wasn’t new and even pressured me into signing documents without fully explaining them, threatening to reload my car onto the truck if I refused. That moment alone should have been a red flag, but I held onto the belief that RoadRunner’s claims process would address my concerns fairly.
I promptly followed all of RoadRunner’s procedures for submitting a damage claim, providing the requested photos and repair estimates within the specified timeframe. I was met with delays, repeated requests for documents I had already submitted, and, most frustratingly, a complete lack of communication. After weeks of follow-ups—via email, phone calls, and voicemails—I was left with no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank in hopes of getting some form of resolution.
Only then did RoadRunner finally respond, stating they would put my claim “on hold” until the chargeback was reversed. However, given their history of ignoring my attempts to communicate, I was—and still am—deeply concerned that if I comply, they will ghost me again and refuse to honor my claim. Despite my efforts to work in good faith, I have been met with silence and further delays.
This experience has not only been incredibly frustrating but has also shown me a complete lack of integrity and accountability from RoadRunner Auto Transport. I understand that issues can arise in any business, but how a company chooses to handle those issues speaks volumes. Instead of standing by their services and honoring the insurance coverage I paid for, they have made the process as difficult and unhelpful as possible, leaving me to bear the financial burden of damages that occurred under their care.
For anyone considering using RoadRunner Auto Transport, I strongly advise you to think twice. If something goes wrong—and based on my experience, it very well might—expect to face a long, exhausting battle with little to no support. A company should be willing to stand by the services they sell, and unfortunately, RoadRunner has failed to do that in my case. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I have endured.
This is not just about money—it’s about trust, fairness, and holding businesses accountable for the commitments they make to their customers. RoadRunner Auto Transport has let me down on all fronts.
