My order was scheduled for delivery two days ago. I received a call from Rocky Ford (Midland, TX) that they have to postpone, because it had just occurred to them that they’ll need 4 people and/or equipment to move it. It’s sad that the customer (myself) knows how much the table weighs, but they failed to even look when scheduling. We sold our other table the night before delivery, and went through the hassle of delivering it, all to prepare for our delivery… and now it’s postponed. The woman had no clue as to when it could be rescheduled. So, highly HIGHLY frustrating, especially if we can’t get it before the holidays bc we won’t have a table at all now. I had to contact the original sellers to help rectify the situation and make SEVERAL calls myself before they were even able to tell me that they MIGHT be able to do it this following week. They never reached out to do anything at all—it was all me, calling and following up. I find that highly irritating that they couldn’t make us high priority after all of the issues. I feel like they should have MADE it a priority to get the 4 person crew together for the following day, or even the next (which would have been today). They just said that they couldn’t schedule the 4 person crew until next week, even though they’ve been aware of this situation for 2 days now. Not to mention, the woman that called me on the day of delivery to POSTPONE, started the conversation by asking if I was sick because I answered quietly due to being at work. They also waited to call and postpone ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY and an hour AFTER the delivery window had begun. I’ve had them deliver things before due to it being Anthropologie’s third party choice… and I haven’t ever had a great experience. I had a mirror delivered that was SHATTERED and they didn’t notice until unboxing at my house. I’ve had a wall damaged. They almost ruined our velvet bed trying to put it together, even though it just slides into slots (they kept trying to force it, when it clearly wasn’t level in the slot and pulled up some of the velvet). It’s really unfortunate, because in typical West Texas fashion, there’s not many options for delivery companies. I’m truly hoping they can redeem themselves and maybe I can edit/update this review once our table is finally delivered, whenever that is…and hopefully it’s delivered WITHOUT DAMAGE and assembled properly…really holding my breath.
I delivered a load here. The people who were working here had no idea of what they were doing. Got unloaded and someone had my BOL but I was just waiting for someone to sign it but everyone was ignoring me. I had to keep asking for it. They seemed to ignore me on purpose. Too bad. Wasted my 3 hrs of time but they didn’t care. Oh boy! Poor truck driver?
Extremely easy to work with and pick up things. Wonderful group of people.
