Terrible Experience – Missing/Stolen Diamond Rings and Many Designer Products.

I had an extremely horrible experience with Royal Moving - there is nothing royal about their services. During our simple local move, which took much longer than it should have (paid by the hour), one of the movers had admitted that he’d gone through my backpack and used my phone charger - major red flag. After they left, we discovered that around $55k worth of our stuff went missing - engagement ring, all of my wife’s wedding jewelry, and designer bags and sunglasses. These items were already in the new apartment, then were stolen moments later…so it’s quite obvious and they were also small items making it less noticeable and more obvious why they were stolen. We’ve filed a police report and hired a detective - we are compiling all the evidence to pursue a lawsuit, but the worst part is how this moving company handled the entire situation. They showed little concern or accountability, wouldn’t provide information to us directly, only offered a small amount over the moving cost to make us go away, etc.

The owner Vlad wouldn’t even communicate with us or return our calls. Someone from their company just said they asked their employees if they took anything and they said no…end of their internal investigation. We haven’t heard of any further recourse for those individuals because the company is looking out for their own. Just denied everything. Haven’t offered to go through their own insurance to help us either. We will update the review once we get more information on how things progress.

It’s clear that they don’t have a proper hiring process or background checks in place - and we are investigating this. I wouldn’t trust their company with anything valuable or irreplaceable. Please use a more viable and reputable company. I would never want anyone else to go through the emotional or financial mess that we are dealing with.
