Safeguard Self Storage

After my mother passed unexpectedly in 2024, we used the Darien Safeguard Storage location for items we wanted to keep from her home until we decided what to do with them. From the beginning to the end, Jim, the Manager of the location, was phenomenal to work with. He was able to guide us through the rental process, gave great tips regarding the facility, referred us to a local junk company when I noted needing one, and was extremely compassionate. We also had excellent experiences with Will at the site who is very friendly.

The facility is very clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate. The site offers 3 carts to use which work well. The rents also do not go up that frequently and they offer deals! We were so pleased with Safeguard that we are moving the remaining items of my mother’s estate to a new Safeguard closer to our home. Needless to say, I recommend this location if you are near Darien, IL and need storage.

Very friendy management, the facility looks decent and clean and bright. Jim Clesceri was very friendly and answered all our questions. We reserved the space he showed us around the same day and we signed the contract!
