Referred to me by a friend. Hiring movers was a treat to myself to keep my stress level low during a very stressful time and it was worth every cent! Brandon, Andy, and Sid Arrived on time at 10am to move me to storage. Brandon had great communication from booking to arrival! I was on the verge of 2 nervous breakdowns by the time they got to my home, but they helped me through this move and 5 hrs later, I can rest! I’m so happy I supported this small but mighty, very well run business and I will be referring them to everyone I know and using SD Fam Move every time I relocate. 1000% recommend. Thanks guys!!

Arrived on time. In and out from one location to the next. Very efficient with no damages to furniture. Brandon was helpful and ensured us every step of the way. Flexible and reasonable. Definitely would hook again.

First things first: I wholeheartedly recommend SD family move. The whole process was very simple. I gave Brandon a call, he requested some info about the move.

Sent all info requested in a concise and clear manner and received the quote from Brandon, which is a flat hourly rate with no extra fees tacked on for my particular move.

A docusign was sent that night and signed. The next day at the time scheduled, Brandon and his two other movers Andy and Sid showed up. They did bring their own equipment as well.

I am meticulous about the way I go about things. So in order to make the move as smooth as possible. I had all items packed PROPERLY and ready to go, with paths cleared. Boxes stacked, uhaul parked close as possible. Etc. Regardless of who you choose in the end to move, dont do your movers dirty and be ready to go. And dont tack on extra stuff.

Andy, Sid and Brandon proceeded to then move hundreds of pounds of my record collection, along with carefully wrapping a few other large items with cellophane and my provided furniture blankets. They loaded everything with ease and swiftly, wasting no time. They treated all boxes and items with respect as if it was their own personal belongings.

I was only .6 miles away but the issue for me was parking. So i had to use the alleyway to park the Uhaul. Brandon and his team went hard in the paint unloading and bringing it up 28 steps as to not block the alley for long. Genuinely hard working crew. They completed my move in less than 2 hours and i gladly paid them for the minimum requirement of 2 hours, plus a tip.
