As a repeat customer, I was really bummed out when my final invoice was almost 150 dollars more than what I initially signed for, with an hour and half charge for more labor than what was actually done.

My movers were interrupted by rain and asked, repeatedly, to reschedule. I accommodated since they were dragging their feet anyway, only for them to charge for their “minimum of two hours” for that day. When they came back, they actually worked two hours, and the initial bill was just for 2 hours. The fraudulent bill had 4. Luckily, my bank refunded this money, but it left quite the sour taste in my mouth.

These guys went above and beyond to help us move a few days before Christmas. I appreciate them doing whatever it took to make us happy. In addition to that, there was no damage. I'd be happy to use them again, but my wife said our next move will only be to the cemetary. Ha!

These guys were amazing. Fast, professional, friendly, all the boxes checked. 100% recommended.

Updated to add that after this review, they were apologetic and replaced my fire pit cover.

I had a very mixed experience with Sarge's when I moved last June. Mike was very accommodating when I had to change my moving date at the last minute. He also reduced the price a little bit on the packing minimum when the packing guys showed up late (not their fault; they got held up at a previous job), but I had to leave before they could finish. On the moving day, the movers wrapped my furniture very carefully, but they were quite rough while moving it (a lot of it is vintage), which resulted in some small, but I think unnecessary, chips to some of the wood pieces. They also didn't pack the truck that carefully (which they said later) and had to go back for a small second load. They wrapped my fire pit (it's faux concrete and very heavy) in plastic wrap (not bubble wrap), and when they unloaded it one of the movers began rolling it on its side. I finally got him to stop and I was sure the fire pit was damaged but thankfully it wasn't, but the cover got torn in a few places. It took Mike a long time to order a new one after I gave him the info (I get it, he's busy), but he didn't put in the right dimensions on the website, so when the cover finally arrived it was way too small. I left some messages/emails about this but never heard back from him. It's clear that I'm not going to hear back, so I'm finally leaving my review.
