Scooby Moving Company

Great experience from start to finish. Laura at the office was quick to schedule and worked us in on very short notice (two weeks out). The Team of Josh, Kamari, Oman, and Brandon were fast, efficient, courteous and professional every step of the way. They busted hump and made quick work handling the job of moving the contents of a 2800 square foot home all the while being chill and conscientious and taking great care with our home's contents. I would give this company more than five stars if I could. After the move the owner Roy was on top of things following up to make sure all things went well. No question I would use them again and highly recommend their services.

It seems Scooby Moving Company is more concerned about getting negative reviews taken down than following up with their customers. My girlfriend and I moved a few weekends ago and she left a review recounting our poor experience with their movers, and Scooby Moving's response was to report the review to Google and try to have it taken down.

To recap her review, our movers showed up reeking to marijuana, asked us for a lighter to smoke a joint, and then took a 30-45 minute break in between locations and showed up to our new house high and had little regard to the condition of our furniture they were moving. Would not recommend.

We had to call several times morning of to confirm the appointment. They said the crew would be in contact with us, but that never happened. When the crew finally showed up, 15 minutes late, Team Leader reeked of marijuana upon greeting.

Once the packing of the truck began, an argument broke out between the Team Leader and the only sober member of the team, resulting in the team member leaving the job. From there, things got worse. Team Leader asked us for a lighter for the last standing Team member to 'smoke a blunt.'

They then went to the 'gas station' for a good 30+ minutes and once they arrived at our new place, began unloading with no regard to the condition of the furniture. Our ottoman was broken and wouldn't close after they brought it in. It had been placed upside-down at the top of a pile without being wrapped so the metal hinge was broken. Our bookcase now has a hole in the wood. My grandfather's table top got chipped. Only the bed furniture we picked up from the furniture store was wrapped. Additionally, we found a massive dent in the wall of our old place after moving.

tldr; movers showed up high and got higher on the job, with little regard to the quality of service provided. Would not recommend.

10 stars **********!!! Punctual, Professional. Careful. Non-stop hard working! Beyond impressive. Laura was always available to answer any questions. I highly, highly recommend them.

If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. These guys were the best. Took all the stress out of moving. The crew was polite, quick, efficient, and took care of all of our items to make sure nothing was damaged. If you are ever moving in the Wake Forest area, make sure to use Scooby Moving.
