See reviews in Meeg Moving, who they were before they went bankrupt and renamed the awful company.
worst movers in human history. I had every box labeled with contents, room it came from/where it goes, up arrows when it mattered, and fragile labels when applicable. I showed them all of these things & explained that up until then I had always moved my own model car collection in its own truck and suggested to them that as much as possible should go up in “grandma’s attic/ the part that extends over the cab. They arrived a day and 2 hours late which disrupted the whole move b/c I couldn’t get into the rental house without the keys from the property manager and it was a weekend move, thus they wouldn’t be open to get keys. I was able to work around that issue with the rental company by leaving early.
We just sold our house and this company had people smoking in it! They were the messiest movers I’ve ever seen. I spent an hour just picking up their cig butts & trash like wads of tape etc, all over the place! Call me crazy but anyone with half a brain would realize that delicate plastic items probably shouldn’t just sit in direct sunlight for hours or they will melt and warp and discolor. Their strategy was to just move all of my cars to the middle of the yard piled up in the sun. It was 98 degrees and sunburn weather. I saw my models perishing in the heat & about lost my mind. Thankfully I noticed that in time and no cars to my knowledge were deformed. I can’t say the same for the rest. We paid extra for wardrobe boxes but they didn’t even use bars in them to hang my wife’s very expensive clothes- rather dumped everything inside, hangers and all- and actually loaded them upside down! It took hours to safely untangle that mess and who knows how big the dry cleaning bill will be, everything looks like it was ran over by a bulldozer. Fully 20% of our furniture was damaged. They didn’t bring enough blankets, even using my own blankets wasn’t enough so instead of getting more they just packed stuff without protection.
We have 3 metal cabinets from Ikea. The doors were literally torn off of every one and the hardware to put them back together simply missing! Two of the four legs on our kitchen table had the finish scraped off. They boogered up the finish on 2 chairs, they shattered the sliding glass door to my 84 year old china hutch that was a wedding gift from my deceased father. In lieu of protecting our king and full sized mattresses in plastic- they just drug them on the ground! Every side of them is now grunged up and black with greasy stains!
Same for our headboard which has upholstery on it. Common sense tossed out the window with these people. A kindergartner would know that loading a heavy safe on top of a fragile 40 year old R/C car in original packaging would not be smart and yet thats what they did. Better yet when I inquired about certain items such as the keys to that safe they played dumb. I found them days later tossed to the bottom of a dumpster. That’s right they threw away a set of keys clearly marker with a tag that says “keys to ammo safe” I found the lids to 4 gas cans, some of the missing shelving hardware, and a smashed up model car display case inside the roll off trash barrel. No idea where the actual car is that was inside it is now. I asked about these things like what happened to the lids of gas cans & keys to the safe to no avail only to find out that they threw them away! When I pointed out the damage to our cabinets they denied it saying they were already like that. They compared the furniture to Russian prison furniture and asked why we didn’t just throw them away! Let’s get something straight, none of our furniture was damaged before the movers. In fact, 90% of it was brand new- purchased in the last year & had never been moved beyond where they were placed by the original furniture store delivery. And you want to argue with me that the doors were already off? They raised the price/ refused to unload w/o more $. They forgot tools and couldn’t put our beds back together. They turned a 1 day move into 2. Don’t use them!!
I'd give a zero if I could. Lost, water-damaged and broken items by the dozens. Late at both ends, no show on one day at one end. No communication, even with their truck driver. Crew timed out before all work was done: I had to help the remaining driver move the remaining items into a storage unit that we fortunately had already rented. Furniture was not set up as we paid for with the moving broker. (As mentioned the crew had timed out.) No inventory system as the van lines use. Insurance turned out to be pennies on the weight in pounds of the item lost or broken: not worth the effort to submit a claim. (Learning lesson, read the insurance fine print first.)
While I cannot legally mention the broker's name due to a small settlement we received from them, they contractually had no power to resolve these issues. Therefore, think carefully before using a broker vs a moving van line.
Horrible company. They showed up late and without enough truck space or people. The first truck broke a lot of furniture. Once everything was loaded they held our stuff ransom for the money but they did not provide me any paperwork bill of landing after loading or after unloading.
Now I want to claim for damages but no paperwork they are giving. Not answering my phone or providing bill of landing. Basically I have to eat up all the expenses for my damage. I am still waiting for paper work, if they provide I might rethink the review. Right now please don’t hire them. You will have nothing but headache. My move was from Kansas to Texas. On June 21-2024. Worst movers ever! Don't let them near your stuff.
Moving company was late on both ends, didn’t communicate delays, didn’t have truck space, didn’t put furniture back together, lost hardware for beds, and we had over 45 items damaged including tvs that they packaged.
