SEKA Moving - Los Angeles Movers

I had the most pleasant experience with SEKA Moving. The team of 3 arrived on time and packed up my whole apartment with utmost attention to detail. They were extremely gentle with my fragile kitchenware and were so careful with my belongings. Nothing is broken! I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I would have given SEKA Moving 5 stars had they not called me the day before delivery and required an additional $300 over the agreed upon contract price. Alex had been great the entire process. I had to move across country and unfortunately had a limited window to do it so the other companies were booked up. I did not have an address at the time of pickup but provided it at a later time. At no point did anyone mention it was a possibility they would have to rent another truck to deliver. It was the day before and I was told I have to pay an additional amount. What was I going to do say no? Majority of my stuff was for my baby so I had to shell out the additional money I didn’t have. It was very disappointing. If you have enough time, go with another company that will tell you everything upfront. Shipping companies are known for ripping people off but I initially did not feel that way about SEKA. It was that last day that really made me change my view of them. If you do go with SEKA, make sure you find out if they have to rent a uhaul (which they got the 19.99 uhaul). It was just a stressful last day when I had to pay an additional fee. That was the only part that left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I scheduled my move within a few days, and the company was able to support. Moving is very stressful but the team was very quick and efficient. They were very professional and courteous. We hit a small snag with the treadmill and the difficulty of taking it apart/moving it… however the Seka team navigated through it to help me find a solution. I am very relieved by the overall service. I will use them again!
