Update: I was contacted by Self Storage Plus to address concerns and all was resolved promptly and professionally.
Well, the light inside of my storage unit doesn't work, which makes moving things in storage very frustrating. We were told we'd get a new light or a consession, but no one has contacted me. Also, you cant use the bathrooms after like 5pm and that's truly awful because I have health issues and need to go to yhe restroom often. I found myself not using the storage facility due to that alone.
I’ve had many storage units over the years and I must say this storage place is the best I’ve ever invested into. Carlos , the manager was knowledgeable and patient!! He answered all of my questions (I had soo many haha). And the units/ grounds are CLEAN. Best storage place in town!!
We have been steady customers for over 6 years and have seen management turnover and poor customer service with erratic and unethical billing practices. Once you are a storage customer, your rates continue to rise. We auto-pay from our bank account. Two months ago Storage Plus said they did not receive our pmt (our bank confirmed sending). SP promptly slapped a $25 late fee. And our rate went up. Then they added another fine because they needed new home owners verification. Our next month’s auto pay went out and this time SP did not cash the check. Resulting in numerous/ harassing calls from the manager (Carlos). Now there was a new fee $115 blocking our storage access until pmt was received. We went into the office to speak with the manager, he was off. We requested to speak with the district manager Danielle, that request was declined.
Bottom line, we had to pay the unwarranted fees to access our belongings.
Follow up: I wrote to the email address provided 3 days ago, but have not received a response yet.
