If I could give 10 stars it wouldn't be enough. I have used senior settlers twice in one year to move my mother's things. They are wonderful, quick to respond to, efficient, thoughtful, and fair in pricing.

Cathy, our Move Manager, made the process to move my mom’s items less stressful; she managed all of the logistics including the mover, Darrell and team, setup the room and sent us photos upon completion. Cathy and Darrell knew this type of move is emotionally stressful and treated us with upmost care. We didn’t have to meet them at the new destination. Their experience didn’t require more than a simple sketch to setup the place.
Also, our move had many factors influencing the move date and Cathy kept in constant contact to make this smoothly happen. She managed the scheduling of the mover and made sure on their availability we confirmed the date.
Cathy provided us with a detailed proposal based on our needs. I didn’t price anyone else since they were recommended by a friend and results confirmed it.
I am an active 73-year old woman, but faced with the stressful task of ruthlessly downsizing from my three-story Victorian to a small one-story bungalow was overwhelming, even after many months of hard work getting rid of as many items as I could. I am an artist and an antique collector, and I had lived in my beloved house for over 45 years, so even though it was tidy and curated, there was simply a lot of stuff that had to go to new homes. I managed to clear out a lot, but I was exhausted and there was still so much to do. I simply couldn’t do any more on my own, and I contacted Senior Settlers. Their incredible service was worth every penny, and they even came in under budget!! I had things as organized as I could to make their job easier, but it was truly amazing what they accomplished in less than a week, without breaking or damaging a single item. Many skilled and careful hands made for an efficient process of first measuring rooms and proposed furnishings to figure out a floor plan in the smaller space, organizing and packing up everything I wanted to keep (and gently advising on what to leave behind), moving me out and unpacking at the new address, putting dishes in cupboards, food in the refrigerator, clothes in closets, and books on shelves in a logical manner, taking all of the boxes and wrappings and trash away (and even taking back to the old house some pieces of furniture that ended up being too big for the new space), having a computer technician get my digital devices and internet functioning, and even helping me hang my art on my new walls with a skilled eye for placement and arrangement! On the final day they cleared out everything left in my old house, leaving it completely empty, and took the few remaining furnishings to be donated. On top of all of this, they were cheerful, kind, compassionate about the huge trauma I was going through, and very, very smart and funny. I can’t say enough about Libby, Stacey, Chuck, Tom, Johnson, Suzanne, Leslie and Camille, as well as Darrell the mover and his crew – they were all terrific people and very hard workers. Kudos to all, and my deepest gratitude!!
Hiring Senior Settlers was the best decision we made. Libby was wonderful in organizing and helping us through downsizing our home and readying us for our move. She brought together the necessary person power for packing, hauling, dumping and charitable giving as we escavated our home of 25 years.
Tammy and Donna from Senior Settlers organized the move of my aunt to memory care. They helped us to downsize her apartment and to set up a subset of furniture, art work, family pictures and collectibles into my aunt’s new room. It was a pleasure to work with this team. They both made it so easy! Such a great service! I will use them again!!
