Easily accessible and good location. Staff happy and kind. Price comparable with other facilities. Bathroom locked sometimes but main lobby always available. Dollies and carts for our needs. Email correspondence excellent for keeping me up to date on closures, changes, opportunities. Even a bill reminder for us! Cool.. recommended.. Rebecca Blue

I love the location, gated entry, and security cameras . Staff is friendly and promptly resolves issues.

I've been using Signal Hill Self Storage for 7 months now and it has been decent for what I need and want. My partner had already been renting a unit for a year or two, so I got to see the service, quality, etc before renting one myself. Here are some of my thoughts so far:

Pros
- Service is great. Everyone I've spoken to that the front desk has always been friendly and helpful. One guy (didn't catch his name) helped us move our couch through the back parking lot when we realized the couch wouldn't fit in the elevator. Also, Marina, who set me up in the beginning was amazing! I don't think she's there any more but she was great.
- My unit is dry and as clean as could be for a storage unit
- I do feel like the building is secure, as you need a code to get in to the storage area and all other entrances are locked.
- You can get discounts on your rent if you prepay upfront. I haven't taken advantage of it as of now, but would like to, as you get a month or even two months' rent off.

Cons
- There used to be a back entrance which made it easier when moving in heavy things (no need to use the elevator). They had to close off those entrances, however, due to complaints from nearby residents about parking. I don't blame them, but it definitely didn't make things easier.
- During the rainy months, I have seen leaking in the hallways. Fortunately, I haven't experienced any in my unit as of now, but I hope it gets fixed. Or maybe it's already fixed and I just wait for the rainy months this year.

I really believe that any1 who has posted a positive review on this business is either family or friends of the Manger. This was a negative experience that will hunt me & my friends 4ever.

Regrettably, my friend of 65 years rented 3 units here & brought his 60 years of comics & toys collection with faith that they would b safe. The 3 units were broken into opening box by box, create by create taking everything saleable plus almost half of his comics, approximately 15000. They took their time 2 go through each box choosing every comic with value. After doing all of this, hey had an auction. Then, ater having the auction they sent my friend an email asking him 2 pay & bring the account UpTo date.

My friend was so devastated & even got sick. I advise veey1 2 b careful. Don't go here.

Glad to have found this place. The prices are great and the staff is very friendly.
