Silo Self Storage

We have two units here and really love the customer service. We've recommended our friends to use this place as well. It's temperature controlled and super clean. Highly recommend.

Yvonne was very personable, professional, and helpful. Nice doing business with people like this.

I am a customer and have my own units but now my husband recently rented a 10X20 unit for himself for all his personal items. Yvonne helped us again and always very professional, answers all our questions and concerns and always available when I call her for other information. I have told my friends and some family members about Silo Self Storage and referred them to Yvonne!

We have been very happy at Silo Storage. Yvonne is absolutely wonderful and super helpful in getting everything set up.
The reason for my 3-star review is the recent notice we got of rent increase. We moved to Silo from a larger storage company to save money and support a smaller company. Our rent is now going to be higher than it was there. An increase of double. The letter stated due to increasing costs, which is confusing since you just opened.
I’m hoping this will be the only increase for a long time, because otherwise we will have to move, yet again.

The onsite manager is so kind and sweet. Corporate is to blame for the price increase. Yvonne is doing everything in her power to rectify the poor decisions made by silo self storage’s corporate office. I only recommend this specific silo self storage because Yvonne is a wonderful personality and she is trying her best to make this right for her local community. She has reached out several times to corporate trying to get our rate lower and corporate hasn’t responded in a meaningful way. It has been a comfort to have Yvonne help us walk through this issue.

Doubled rent with no notice. I understand it’s a business and rates need to increase over time but double is insane. Silo said I was sent a rate increase via certified mail that I never received. I asked if the rate increase could be sent via email so I don’t miss it and was told no. When I signed up I was told I would receive everything via email and was also told price increases are typically $10 - $20. I asked for other options and was told I could downsize or move out. DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT HERE! They say what they need to say to get you in the door then rake you over the coals later.
