Skinny Wimp Moving Baton Rouge

This is the second time using Skinny Whimps and it was all smooth sailing. I don’t know how they did it in 95 degree temps non stop. They never complained and the three guys Xavier, Elijah and Danny worked extremely well together. I highly recommend Skinny Whimps for any moving job you have.

We had a great experience with Skinny Wimp movers. All the guys, Jay, Xavier, Dillon and Josh were very polite and worked quickly. We were very impressed and they didn’t seem to mind it was upstairs.

The movers that were contracted were nice, but they arrived 40 minutes late. I had to remind them to put the Refrigerator back after connecting the water line.

They smudged the door and chipped the walls as seen in the photos.

I appreciate the movers and still tipped them, but my house was just finally built in full yesterday. Not the way to break in your new home lol

I debated leaving a review for a long time but i figured if i can help anyone avoid the headache ive had, i should share. I will say the movers were very friendly. A little late but i didnt care i had the whole day to move. But where they earned their 1 star is management. The movers were young and unsupervised, and ended up breaking a custom built $9,500 dresser, shattering a pool table slate, and putting nice dents in my washing machine. I get it, its part of moving. But when i got the quotes to fix my furniture (1,800 for the dresser repair, and $600 for new pool table slate) (i wasnt worried about repairing the washer as its just cosmetic) i was told by management that it was my fault i let them put my pool table in the truck, and handle the heavy dresser. My fault. And offered a $200 discount. So i paid $800 for moving, and over $2,000 in repairs, i get a nice shiny $200 discount. I will never use skinny wimp again, and it really makes me question the whole moving industry. Hopefully my mistake helps you avoid yours.

After some miscommunication, all my questions were answered. They were very helpful and very nice. I plan on using them very soon.
