If I could rate with more stars I would! I highly recommend smart move! They are hard working and efficient. They carefully moved everything so no walls were dinged and packed it in the truck safely so there was no damage to our furniture. The customer service can’t be beat we had a little hiccup and gave them more work than anticipated. Matt handled it with grace and came out to help get the job done. He could have charged extra and didn’t which shows how much he cares about customers! It’s also obvious how much he values his employees. If you are moving or know someone moving this is the company you want to go with!

Do not use this company. First they showed up a hour late. Poor quality dinged up walls. Will not return phone calls. Does not try to make things right. I hope whoever reads this does not use this company do your self a favor call someone else. Got hung up on multiple times and phone number blocked while trying to get ahold of them. Paid them $450 bucks for them to not perform. The 'manager' stood there the whole time while not even working making the other two who clearly have no experience work.

The workers were very polite, professional and hard workers. They were also a lot of fun to talk to.
We were given a very good deal on moving to our new apartment.
We will use the company again.

Didn't finish our move, didn't replace broken furniture, didn't repair holes they left in our drywall.

The movers themselves were great to work with, but they showed up with fewer guys and a smaller truck than they said they had planned for. This resulted in only half our move being done on day one, which put us in a huge bind with getting out of our old house in time for our contract. Then they didn't finish the move the next day. We had to rent a truck and finish it ourselves, which is the whole reason to hire movers in the first place. They were not apologetic and blamed us. They also put holes and gashes in our wall and damaged several pieces of furniture which they promised to repair or replace. We got them to reimburse us for one small $20 plastic part, but all the other furniture and holes in our wall were never taken care of. At first they were very responsive, but then they stopped responding so we just gave up. We are repairing the walls ourselves and cutting our losses with an expensive dresser which is completely unusable, and several other pieces that got scratched. I have seen other negative comments get replied to by the owner saying that they weren't a real client, and that the reviewer must have their moving companies mixed up. That may be true in some cases, but to pre-empt that, this is Smart Move, owned by Matthew Irvine and Rich Salisbury.
