Review:

I 100% agree with Robert Baker's review! I am having/had the exact issue (i.e., my Autopay credit card expired months ago), and since then it's been phone tag with the 800/877 (what beith!) customer service line, & there's no means to access my account online. Coincidently, I stopped getting e-mails regarding payments (or anything else), so I too was concerned about the company's status & if my storage was now MIA! ?

Yet all of a sudden, I started getting e-mails about my yes, now *delinquent* account ('call to...make a payment/arrange a payment plan') along with a missed 877 call today regarding the same. (Note-I don't pickup unidentified 800/877 as it's usually spam/BS, but callback asap if there a legit vm.)
Sure enough, a callback to CS with what?? NO ANSWER/ INFINITE HOLD MUSIC! Ridiculous!! I JUST WANT TO GIVE A NEW CREDIT CARD # TO RESTART AUTOPAY & PAY MY BALANCE! ??

So, I just saw these reviews & will contact the noted Roselle 630#... fingers crossed?, & my storage/credit better be secure/intact!!!

Review:

I have had stuff in storage with these guys for a while, and have had to go to their warehouse to access my pods. The guys who work the warehouse are awesome. They were very accommodating and friendly, real pros. I'd give them six stars!

However, getting someone on the phone is impossible. I've been trying to simply change the credit card that I use for automatic payment and cannot. Their website is purely informational, and no one will answer the phone! I'm beginning to worry they've gone out of business. The only thing that suggests otherwise is that they keep charging my card.

I'm currently on hold with them. It's been almost an hour. Their hold music is constantly interrupted by a voice offering to save my place in line and call me back, but the last time I did that I never got a call back. I'm seriously considering canceling the payment card just so someone will call me about this.

UPDATE:
Well, some more time has gone by, and I'm ready to have my storage box delivered to my new address. I did eventually speak to someone at Smartbox and got my issue resolved, so kudos on them for getting back to me.

HOWEVER. I am freaking out about my stuff. First of all, I have called several times to start the process of getting my things delivered. No two people there have given me the same answer about when and where they are going to deliver my stuff. I've been hung up on multiple times by people who seemed annoyed when I pointed out that they were telling me something different from what someone else had already said.

I have gotten three different quotes emailed to me, despite only asking for one. Each one has the same price as the others, but two of them say they will deliver to my home address and the other says that they will only deliver to some alternate address, a warehouse of some type, 65 miles away from my home. One quote is for more than two weeks earlier than the date I requested!

I was also told on the phone by one person that they will not deliver to my home because they don't service my area. A quick check of their website shows that my area is listed as an area they service. Put my ZIP code in their search bar, and it shows a SMARTBOX facility less than 10 miles from my new home.

I directly emailed the woman from SMARTBOX who finally settled the issue I had when I wrote the initial review, hoping for a resolution to this new debacle. She promised to call me today between the hours of 1PM and 4PM.

I'm updating this review after 4PM, having received no such phone call.

Review:

Even though I gave them a 5 star I had a difficult time reaching someone to get access to my unit. Finally a week of trying I reached someone & was able to communicate. The access hours to your unit are by appointment only with a 48hr advance notice & you only get a limited time between 9:30 - 4:30.

Review:

Awful company… no one answers the phone or returns your call. They happily took our money and never delivered our pods. Probably better we never sent out personal belongings there given how terrible they are.

Review:

We have ordered two pods for dropoff today. The pods are 4 hours late and after multiple hours on hold and no response to multiple emails we are starting to get very nervous that we will need to find other accommodations for our cross country move. This is for the chicago locations
