The number you call to speak to someone is HORRIBLE! You will wait on hold forever and when you choose the save your place It would call you back then there was no one on the other end. We moved from Washington state to SoCal. The drivers are AMAZING 5 ⭐️‘S to them. Ricardo and Andre in L A office were the BEST. Good luck calling the main number. The lady who scheduled my move was super nice. Keep the Email so you can communicate via Email.
A lot of these reviews are fake. Who remembers employee names enough to write a review for a company that you may use once or twice in your life? To be clear, this company is complete trash. I am currently 2.5 months beyond the expected delivery date and suffer the absolute worse customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. The most consistent act of this company is retrieving your boxes on time. But after that, your property goes into a black hole that will take months to recover. And here’s why: the company charges you 1,000s of dollars for the service and then spends probably the price of a haircut on snail like freight services that get your property across state lines. They already know they’ll operate like this when they get you into contract. The amount of profit is based on the consumers willingness to push back against the sour treatment. Please go elsewhere if you can!
I have used smart box twice now both times have been great! My driver Andre Morgan was awesome earlier than on time, and helped me unload a bit even though I begged him not to. I will continue to use smart box anytime I need this service.
I HIGHLY recommend Smartbox for any move and will definitely use them again. Living in Los Angeles the parking garages can be quite tiny and awkward to maneuver. Andre did an amazing job getting the Smartbox both into and out of my garage. His can do attitude and kind disposition was the icing on the cake to my painless out of state move. 10/10 recommend Smartbox over any other moving/ storage method!
Tripp and his local crew were awesome and helped me out of a situation. When my originsl pods order fell through and could not be delivered...they provided 2 smartboxes within 24 hours instead...and were less expensive overall....when I was finished using them again ...Tripp and his crew picked up the empty boxes the very next day...thank, JY
They get a 5...however...the national phone help service is horrible...I was on callback hold for over 7 hours once and the second time I tried it they still hadn't called back after 10 hours...finally called Tripp at the LOCAL office and they called back in less than 10 minutes and solved everything
