Following the passing of our parents, for over a year now my sister and I have been dreading the process of sorting through our parent's home in Plano in the lead up to estate sale and then sale. We both live out of state, and in my free window of travel back, I had called Debra on Friday before I flew back to Dallas, and she and her team of very kind organizers and movers had arrived by Monday to help me through sorting all of our possessions. Even with all of the difficult emotions on my side and physical labor involved, we were able to sort through everything quickly and facilitate what we wanted to keep to move into storage within just a few short days, incredibly efficiently for a sizable house.
On the personal side, I want to stress the ease and care with which Debra and her team operate. They understood the level of the task at hand immediately, as well as the personal side of every item we sorted through, and I cannot thank them enough for this experience. This was more than simple organization, it was true care paired with serious efficiency to lighten a process that we had been dreading for some time. I cannot recommend Debra, her team, or their partners enough.

Smooth Moves by Design delivered as promised! Debra and her team worked efficiently, creatively, and skillfully to navigate the transition from our previous home to our new! Each box packed and labeled carefully allowing the moving company to arrive safely to our new home, where they were placed without a question in the proper rooms. The worker bees were happy to converse with and were a pleasure to have in our home! We used Smooth Moves by Design for a second time and this time it was out of state. We moved from Dallas to Denver. It was very affordable. We have done similar moves, paid more and gotten less. They packed and unpacked. Everything was done. So much easier than doing it yourself. If you’re moving, you really should try it!

This is our second time using Debra. This time we moved from Dallas to Denver. Debra and her team flew out and provided us the same great service they did the last time. We never saw one box! She orchestrated everything about the move, even arranged for shipment of my vehicle. Once you use this type of service, you can never go back to the old way of moving. If you are in need of a 100% stress-free move, I highly recommend Debra and her team!

As a very particular person I found Debra’s services to be top notch. I had no idea what to expect. When I walked into my new space I was floored. It was beyond anything I could image. I am very picky and was concerned with the placement of my items. Debra went above and beyond. My TVs were mounted and all my art was hung. It looked absolutely fabulous. She even refolded the clothes in my dresser drawers. It was an EVENT! I was so busy having Botox while she was doing all the WORK! I literally can’t say enough good things. I will use Debra for sure in the future.
