UPDATE: My initial review was about the packing team, who provided an exceptional experience. However, the delivery process was an absolute nightmare—if I could give zero stars, I would. I will never use this company for an actual move again.

Before arrival, the delivery driver tried to extort me, falsely claiming that semi-trucks were not allowed on my street and demanding an extra $375 to complete the delivery. He outright refused to unload my belongings unless I paid him. Only after I provided video proof of a local company parking 18-wheelers on my street did he back down and finally agree to deliver my items.

When he arrived, red flags immediately went up—he was not driving a Solomon & Sons truck but rather a United truck. This directly contradicted what Solomon & Sons employee Shani Bengozi had told me during a FaceTime video tour of their facility, where she adamantly claimed that the company does not broker moves. That was clearly a lie.

Despite having plenty of space to back in and even turn around, the driver continued his deception once he arrived, this time demanding that I pay him directly instead of following my contract with Solomon & Sons. He actually said, 'I have your stuff. I don’t want to wait for the company to pay me.' At that point, I had no choice but to call the police and a Solomon & Sons office employee's personal number to force him to honor the agreed-upon payment terms.

When the unloading finally began, the carelessness and lack of professionalism were shocking. The movers dropped my boxes from the ladder used to grab boxes from the truck, onto the ground, causing irreparable damage to a precious heirloom from my grandmother. They also scraped and damaged my hallway walls while moving items. The driver was rude, disgruntled, and unprofessional throughout the entire process.

The only positive part of this experience was the packing team—Miguel, Roberto, and Herman were fantastic. They were professional, efficient, and made packing completely stress-free. I wish I had them for the entire move.

I would never recommend this company for a full-service move. Their dishonest business practices, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for customer property make them untrustworthy and unprofessional. If you are considering using them, I strongly advise you to proceed with extreme caution.

My pick up went so smoothly! Forrest and Marcellus were very kind and made me feel comfortable that my belongings were in good care. They were informative, respectful and confident in their work.
