South Jersey Moving

I am terrible with names, sorry ?, but the two men that helped move my couches were amazing. Even though I measured the doorway and steps I had doubts that my giant couches would fit. These two not only got them up to my second floor apartment but there were no scratches on the walls or floors. Highly recommend this company for moving.

These guys were great. I hired them to move larger pieces of commercial deli/bakery equipment. They showed up- the next day- within pre discussed timeframe. They maneuvered some pretty tricky obstacles removing the pieces from the location. They accommodated dropping items off in 2 locations. The one guy even killed a black widow spider dangling from my garage door! major thanks to their team!

Robert Kirk from South Jersey Moving is not a man of his word. His incompetent workers broke my brand new treadmill and when I called him the next day, he told me they are not responsible to fix it. He quoted me a price of $975 from Bellmawr NJ to West Chester PA, when it came time to pay, the bill was over $1400, he charged me $55 for tolls when the only toll they encountered was the Comm Barry Bridge. Now I’m stuck with footing the bill to get my brand new treadmill working again that his guys broke. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE heed my warning and hire a competent company, even if it’s $1000 more! Hear me now and believe me later- you will regret using this company, extremely shady.

I also reached out to Robert Kirk one last time before the treadmill technician comes out to my house on Wednesday to see if he’s gonna correct the damage that his workers did, and of course he didn’t respond to my text. I know he saw the text cause he has his read receipts on.

Although the 3 guys who showed up to move us did do a good job, they all smelled of marijuana, badly and all day. That is very unprofessional and dangerous beings that you’r not only packing up heavy furniture but driving a long distance as well.
The main reason for this bad review is my husband has a treadmill (that was working fine the morning of the move) and when they set it up at our new house it wasn’t working properly. He called the owner, Robert Kirk, to advise him of this and he was giving my husband a hard time about rectifying the issue. Robert went from not trying to fix the treadmill, to giving us $100 (when not knowing what was wrong or how much the damage was) to get a quote and I’ll see what I can do. Not cool.
My husband also told him how his guys were all high the entire time, he didn’t seem to care. Oh and let me not forget to mention how we were quoted $1000 and had to end up paying $1400 bc the movers decided to make 2 wawa stops that added extra time… that we had to pay for.
The unprofessionalism of this company not going above and beyond for their customers is very disappointing and I would not recommend using their services..EVER!!

John, Sharron, and JR moved several challenging pieces from my house and into another. They were super efficient, coherent, and professional. I also felt as though they had a genuine concern for my property.. I was impressed by the diligence considering the demanding nature of the job.
I would recommend for sure! Thanks guys!
