Great service at reasonable price.

This company moved my daughter from Suffolk to Chesapeake to her new apartment. They were prompt, efficient, and extremely professional. They moved quickly, asked questions when needed, and handled her things with care. The rate was very reasonable. Service Excellent, movers…SUPER Professional. You won’t find a more professional and affordable moving company in Hampton Roads. I will definitely hire them again!

I got a few quotes from movers on Angi and hesitated over hiring them. I did a Google search for additional listings and found Southside Movers. All the companies gave me rates, fees, and minimum times. Southside walked me through all my belongings and gave me rates. Others were cheaper, but this company let me know that a regular moving truck would not hold all my stuff. None of the others did, and I found later they had the same size trucks. Southside suggested I move what I could on my own so I wouldn't need to have two crews (at nearly double the price).
Their estimate for money and time were spot-on. Best of all, they moved my things without breaking or damaging anything. Also, the guys were personable, respectful, and very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone.
