Timothy and Calvin were very careful with my belongings and friendly. They made my move easy and fun even when I was stressed about things. Would definitely recommend them and this company.

I called this company about moving my uncle who is 80 years old from VA to NC and I stated all the items to be moved and got the quote from Tony who was very helpful. Set up a delivery date which I had to change due to the closing on the new house was rescheduled. They picked up everything that was mentioned on the list besides the computer desk. The issue came in when the China cabinet glass was broken which a claim was submitted, the TV cords which the company packed were missing. Called and spoke to receptionist she was supposed to find the guys who delivered the furniture and have them call back ni return call. The cable company had 2 cords thank goodness and had to go out and purchase 2. One of the tvs will not come on at all. Submitted a claim for this as well. The kicker was went to get in bed and the entire bed fell on the floor. The screws were missing on the box spring boards and he has no idea where they are. So now he has to go to Lowes to try and find something that will fit in the bed. This entire move was a disaster and as much money as he paid for this move your company should be ashamed of themselves.

I hired Southside Moving and Storage twice. The men are very professional and thorough. I will hire them again when needed. Highly recommend!

This moving company was the WORST. First off they only had 1 bedroom set, a three piece sectional sofa, 1 TV stand, and a kitchen island to move from one appartment building to across the street to another one on the same complex. I was quoted $347.00 for two hours. Appointment was for 8:00am my sister was at my place when they showed up late at around 9:00. My sister called me at noon to say they were still there, I told her to ask them to ,race because I didn't have the extra money. They threw furniture in my appartment and didn't bother to sit it up. My cherry bed frame was nicked in multiple place and my movable island I had just purchased they broke the marble top. I called and ccomplained that it shouldn't have taken 3 hours for them to move me especially since they didn't set my furniture up. They told me to file a claim for my kitchen island they broke and yesterday I received and email stating they have a $500.00 deductible and since island only cost $400.00 they weren't liable to replace. So they can just tear people things up and not have to replace it you've got to be kidding me.#contactedalawyer
