They were able to get me on the calendar on short notice. The staff are very efficient and experienced and handled the items I wanted.

I only do 4 stars instead of 5 because they lost the screws to part of my desk which was a bummer. I was able to improvise with other screws to re-assemble it but still the desk is now a little wobbly as it's missing a few screws and I don't know what type of screw to order new ones.

Overall I'm happy with the service and would use them again given that they were straightforward and didn't have any major issues. The movers were very efficient and it went fast and didn't take more than the required minimum 3 hours so the charges were reasonable. I haven't hired movers before so I don't know how good value they are vs. their competitors but the I personally feel like I got my $$ worth (minus some $0.50 screws).

Jimmy was great in charge. At first, I thought he was he was a bit of a taskmaster. He later showed terrific leadership in the way he managed the work and the people. They worked with a sense of urgency but with an air of playfulness too that was evident in the way they kidded each other. I was the beneficiary of it all at they finished the work in about three hours and never waned in their energy. They clearly work in a way that is driven by pride in a job well done more than their compensation. I highly recommend this crew and Square Cow Movers for a local move.

Just had a great experience with Square Cow. Walter, Kevin, Kalvin and Demain worked non-stop all day to get our 2600 SF home moved. They meticulously wrapped our furniture to ensure it wasn't damaged in the move. They made sure to place the pieces in the right spot in our new home and even asked how we wanted the furniture arranged so we had less to worry about on an already overwhelming day. They went above and beyond, would highly recommend these guys!

We recently moved with Square Cow and we have to say that they not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every way. It was complex move that was over 3 days and no matter what we needed, from the office staff right through to the movers themselves they were always willing to go the extra mile. They truly made this 'stress-full' experience, stress-free!

In addition, the movers themselves were so professional, kind and helpful that I would like to personally give them a shout out, well done Jesse, Ben, Chris and Xavier on being such a huge help to us!

Unmitigated disaster. They left before move was complete. Loaded truck loosely with lots of extra space for things to jostle around. Broke several furniture pieces before putting into truck. Left furniture scattered all over my lawn, front and back. The crew spent a bunch of time UNPACKING the truck when they realized they had packed their own backpack somewhere in there. They ripped shelves out of the wall, leaving holes. We were supposed to have a crew of 4 but only 3 showed up. Then, at the end of the day, with the job not complete, they tried to charge us for 4 people.

Needless to say, we didn't leave the day we were scheduled to. We had to repack the truck, collect up all the stuff scattered around our house and yard, and find a handyman to repair the damage to our walls -- when we should have been on the road. Our amazing neighbors spent the next day helping us pack and without them I don't know what we would have done.

When I called the company discuss all the above I was told I would get a call back that day from a manager. Didn't happen. Called them back the following day and had to chase them down to explain. A supervisor claimed they would send a handyman to fix the wall damage and, that for the other mishaps, they would work to make it right. Never contacted us about a handyman. Their version of 'making it right' is to pay 60 cents per lb of damage and that is all.

There was no process evident in the packing and moving; it was utter chaos, which was to our detriment. But when it was claim time, all of a sudden Square Cow has a defined process --and again it is to our detriment.

My family has moved many times, on average every 3 years. It does not need to go this badly. There is always some minor mishap, but it all gets sorted. With Square Cow I can honestly say we has the worst moving experience we ever had in 9 moves. This move was costly to us in terms of stress, money and effort.
