The owner needs to have a management training course for those he place in charge on code of conduct, ethics, HR concepts, dignity, and respect and he needs an office manager, who he selects to insure the proper interviewing and hiring process is done efficiently and to the standards of both the state and federal labor laws, and not just hiring friends or the girlfriend. Said manager has no professionalism nor telephone ediquette. And had not a clue I was calling on behalf of my company to be moved from one location to another, and needed a quote for my father as well. Being a veteran myself, I would expect this company to at least live up to the core values we had to. Said manager was very rude, aggressive, displaced attitude and conducted himself in a 'hood' manner and needs to know the difference between client and friends and on the clock and off the clock. I will definetly be filing a complaint with EEOC and the Virginia Board of Labors.

To follow up either the owner or manager asked Yelp to remove the other review but they both forget Iphones now the capability to record conversations. So his manager can lie and deny his character actions but recorded conversations don't. Sadly we ended up using Two Men and a Truck for our state to state move.

These guys went above and beyond the call of Duty. Joe was a great leader of his team and really kept things moving. They kept me informed of their arrival time and really did a good job loading within tight time constraints. Joe and Harrison can lift more weight than I have ever seen. It was cold and raining and it didn't bother them at all. I'm looking forward to seeing Joe at JayZBBQ. Kevin did a great job with sales and putting the team together. I would definitely use Star Movers again and would recommend them to anybody.
